Fountain Hills is built around its namesake fountain, one of the tallest in the world, and sits in the hills east of Scottsdale with long views of Four Peaks and the McDowell Mountains. It is a designated dark sky community, so the stars are part of the appeal, along with golf and a small-town pace. Homes with an assumable loan are rare here, with only one or two for sale at a time.

You do not need to be a veteran to assume a VA loan; you do need to qualify with the loan servicer.
